My name is Dawn. I spent two years volunteering at the SPCA of TX as an adoption counselor, foster home, and canine socialization specialist working with timid or fear-biting dogs. My Rottie/Dobie mix was a cruelty investigation rescue and a fear-biter when I adopted him, but he became a loving and faithful companion. I have shared my life with dogs, cats, horses, Longhorn cattle, goats, birds, and gerbils.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Business Management from Dallas Baptist University with a corporate background of managing financial departments. Because my career required frequent travel, I understand the importance of finding reliable pet care. One of my dogs required medication every 12 hours and I relied on a professional pet-sitter to care for my pets and administer medication on schedule. Having peace of mind that my dogs were well-taken care of and were receiving lots of TLC made a world of difference while I was traveling.
